Rosemary Alexander 1947-2008 was a self-taught artist, writer, gardener and horsewoman. Her paintings reflected her interest in nature and many of the flowers were from her own garden. Two of her paintings of the New Forest were exhibited in the 2007 exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.
