Robert E. Fuller
Robert E. Fuller was born in 1972 and moved to North Yorkshire when he was two, where his conservation-minded farming father introduced him to all the beauty of the natural world. School was something of a chore to Robert, though his artistic and photographic talent became increasingly clear, and he went on to study art at both York and Camarthen colleges. After graduation, Robert was doubtful about whether he could make a living as an artist, but was given the confidence to take the plunge after a summer job at Chester Zoo, where he found his fellow staff were more than willing to pay for his sketches of the zoo residents! He moved with his wife to Fotherdale Farm, near where he grew up, in 1998 and developed a professional gallery and workshops to pursue his career. Robert also has about 100 hidden cameras placed around the farm, and he livestreams the activities of the local wildlife on his website to many devoted followers.
